Our purpose

Our purpose is to offer worship to the Holy Trinity through Word, Sacrament and Service of others, acknowledging our rich heritage as Anglicans within the universal Church and seeking to draw others into Christ’s fellowship.

These are our aims:

To offer to God in the Holy Eucharist the best that we have in liturgy and music, using and caring for the building which is our inheritance.

To deepen our life of prayer and our knowledge of God’s Word, encouraging the practice of daily prayer and the use of the Daily Office and by our study and discussion together.

To nurture the young and help each other to grow in faith and understanding.

To strengthen our fellowship and our relations with other Christians in our community, to promote the unity and mission of all Christian people.

To reach out in action and loving service, both as individuals and as a congregation.

To support and encourage the world wide mission of the Church and to work and pray for the coming of the Kingdom.
